Welcome to Concepts School of Cosmetology Clients- Please remember that our students are in various stages of learning and our clients are a valuable component to this process, the prices at Concepts are discounted due to this reason. Our students perform to the best of their ability to meet the requests of their clients and instructors, however, we cannot issue refunds or complimentary services for a less than perfect outcome. We hope you understand, and thanks once again for supporting our students in their learning process.
Discounting- Clients, due to Concepts being a school environment, we do not offer discounting for group parties, seniors, students etc. Our prices are already discounted.
Appointments- All services performed by our students are supervised by their instructors. We are open to the public, however it is best to make an appointment in advance. Due to continuous schedule changes, we are unable to schedule appointments via e-mail. To schedule an appointment in our Hair Salon or Esthetic Clinic, please feel free to contact us @ 492-2444 ext 1, and we would be thrilled to book you in!!
Payment- We do accept the following forms of payment: Debit, Cash, Visa and MasterCard.
School Policies- Clients, please contribute to the great atmosphere we are trying to create for our students, by turning off your cell phone when your service begins. Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your appointment for parking and also to fill out any necessary consultation forms. Please come and enjoy yourself. Book when you have extra time, as the students may sometimes take longer than you have allotted for.
Gift Certificates - Gift Certificates are available at our front reception for all services and/or products and have no expiry date. Our Gift Certificates are sold by dollar denomination and not by service. They can be purchased in the amount of; $20, $25, $35, $50 or $100.
Parking- Our parking is at a first come first serve basis, so we please ask that you leave early to find a spot in our parking lot or on a nearby side street.
Children @ Concepts- Please understand that we don't have an appropriate supervised area for your children to wait while you are having your service done. Our students are in the learning process and they do have very hot and sharp implements in the clinic. Concepts does offer certain services at a lower rate for children 12 and under, however parental supervision is required. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
Cancellation Policy- Clients, we do ask that we please have 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Clients who have had consecutive no shows for their appointments will be asked to hold all future appointments with a credit card number. If the client fails to call or advise us of their cancellation, 1/2 the price of the service will be charged to the credit card. This is to address idle time for our students, as their clients are an important part of their learning process.
Group Appointments- Concepts requires a credit card number to hold group appointments of 3 and up. If appointments are not cancelled with 24-48 hours notice, we will have to charge 1/2 the service to the credit card. This policy has been placed due to the large number of last minute cancellations that we have been receiving without proper notice. As an educational facility we need to ensure that our students have the necessary clients in order to perform and excel to the best of their ability.
Lost and Found- Please be advised that Concepts is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items. If you have misplaced an item, you may call our front reception at 492-2444 ext 1, and we would be happy to take a look for you. We will hold any misplaced items for 2 months and if not claimed, these items will be donated to a local charity.
